Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects, including plan takeoffs, material pricing, labor analysis, and proposal preparation.
This role plays a critical part in supporting our sales and project management teams by ensuring projects are priced correctly, competitively, and profitably.

This role plays a critical part in supporting our sales and project management teams by ensuring projects are priced correctly, competitively, and profitably.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience estimating commercial HVAC projects
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., FastPIPE, Trimble, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents for commercial HVAC projects
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for HVAC systems and related components
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Prepare and submit bid proposals and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams
- Track bid results and maintain estimating databases
- Identify potential cost risks and value engineering opportunities
Compensation: $56,000.00 per year
